The website of the Sangre Shooting Sports Club, keeping members up to date with announcements, membership forms and fees.
The challenge
The Sangre Shooting Sports Club in Westcliffe, Colorado, is run by volunteers for its members. Its website has to answer the everyday questions, when the range is reserved, how to join, what the safety rules are, without anyone having to field calls and emails.
Membership renewals, safety orientation and events all come round every year, so the site needed to be easy to update and to carry a reliable calendar.
The solution
I built the site on WordPress with the Divi theme. The homepage leads with announcements, range reservations, safety orientation for new members and open days for non-members before hunting season, so members see what matters first.
The Events Calendar Pro, with registrations, runs the club calendar and lets members sign up for events, and the current year's membership fees and application forms are laid out clearly for download. Range use applications, safety and facilities pages, location and a short video of the club's open house complete the site, with CleanTalk keeping spam out of the forms.
